Here you’ll find my photographs, thoughts and opinions. These will be from my personal experiences, be it the day to day or traveling where the wind has taken us. My wish is to primarily share beautiful images, along with the insights, knowledge and wisdom I gained along the way. I hope these will inspire and entertain you.

I am a husband, father and grandfather, who enjoys his family and the time we get to spend together.

I have had a work career that spanned 4 decades. I have worked in restaurants, electrical construction and for a public water utility.  A good work ethic and striving to do the best job I can led to many successes and advancements through the years. I retired in 2018, which allowed me to immerse myself in to a long time desire, learning photography. I have enjoyed taking pictures, from a young age, starting with my first camera, a Brownie Six-20. My first camera to have an interchangeable lens was a 35mm Minolta SR-T 101. In the digital age, I have shot with a Sony Cybershot, Nikon Coolpix, and presently the Nikon D500. I am still learning about photography. It is a lot like learning a foreign language or music or a new career field. As I am learning, I begin to understand a little bit more each day, communicating in the language of photography – aperture, exposure, shutter speed, depth of field and composition have taken on new deeper meanings. Hopefully, one day you have an epiphany and all these things start to actually make sense and learning how to use your camera has become second nature. But then there is more, there is always more, to learn. These are just some of the basics, foundational building blocks to get you started. I have started, I have a long way to go, ever learning.

This website is a work in progress, eventually, I am planning to offer high resolution digital images for sale via a “shopping cart”. In the meantime, if there are images seen here you would like to own, please contact me.
